mary shelley project
is a performative collaboration lead by composer/vocalist Muriel Louveau (France) who explores,
communes with, and inhabist the dreamscapes of Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley (author of Frankenstein, The Last Man, and many other books, short stories, and essays), to discover the contemporary parallels of her life and times.
"This project is not a direct, detailed storyline "says Louveau "but a personal interpretation and meditative process inspired by Shelley in which poetry is merging with sound and dance .
Vocals become like sculptural elements inducing movement, choreography and you don't need your logic mind to analyze this experience "
Listen to Muriel's vocal & sound creations :
Darkness inspired by Lord Byron's poem
Spirits Spoken words written by Shelley weaves with singing and elegiac soundscapes. English is intertwined with a made up language.

If it is ugliness that drives the monster's exclusion...
