Muriel Louveau, born in Brittany, is a french composer, performance-maker, and singer. She began performing at age five and went on to study the history of art and
to follow the vocal training program of Roy Hart Theater .

Louveau's songs have been broadcasted on BBC 3 and WNYC Radios and she has been invited on Cuny TV .
Louveau has also been commissioned to produce four educational albums for French speaking children which earned a Teachers Choice and Academy Charles Cros Awards

"Working on interdisciplinary performances (with painting, video ,dance, literature )just came as a natural consequence in
an effort to discover and weave together new modes of perception". says Louveau -
She has been staging the music of Skana, an album entirely produced in cyber space with american composer Charles B Kim . Premiere in NYC at Galapagos Art Space followed by new theatrical incarnations at Theaterlab (2014 -2015),in collaboration with american dancer choreographer Emily Marie Pope.
April 2015 Residency Voice and movement in Slovenia (Republic of Slovenia Public Fund for Cultural Activities).
Recently Muriel has created the original soundtrack for the play "Rechnitz "directed by Ildiko Nemeth for New Stage Theatre Company (April –May 2018 ) and featured a new sound poetic installation Vocals in the Dark with BodyStories Dance Company at Fivemyles Gallery ,Brooklyn (June 2017 -2018)
She is currently working with american choreographer Tiffany Mills on a new iteration of "Not Then , not yet ” a new piece weaving music and dance inspired by Mary Shelley story ,that premiered at the Flea theater in November 2019.
